NSPNC holds second-day talks with political parties’ working group

The second day of the meeting between the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) and the political parties’ working group continued at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. 

Union Minister for Border Affairs and NSPNC Chair Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, NSPNC members and Dr Aye Maung, leader of the political parties’ working group and Chairman of the Arakan Front Party, along with other representatives, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed and negotiated issues related to general elections and constitutional amendment proposals that had not been completed on the first day of the meeting. In the general discussion, current political situations and security issues were discussed. Opinions obtained from the two-day talks were then recorded as summaries.
