SAC Members meet teachers in Sittway

On a visit to Sittway, State Administration Council Members Dr Hmuh Thang, Dr Ba Shwe, and Khun San Lwin, alongside Union Ministers Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, SAC Central Advisory Body member Daw Aye Nu Sein, Deputy Ministers Daw Nu Mra Zan and U Zaw Aye Maung, and other state officials, engaged in significant activities.

The delegation visited Sittway University, where they held a meeting with teachers from both higher and basic education at the convocation hall. During the meeting, SAC Member Dr Ba Shwe addressed the teachers, emphasizing the importance of not only being skilled in their academic sub jects but also instilling proper mental and emotional values in students. He highlighted the role of teachers as dedicated and caring mentors, encouraging them to help students develop the five strengths. Dr Ba Shwe expressed his hope that teachers can carry out their noble profession in peace and happiness.

Teachers at the meeting shared their working conditions and needs, which were subsequently discussed by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and SAC Member Dr Ba Shwe. In recognition of their hard work, Dr Ba Shwe presented cash awards and basic food stuffs to the teachers. The visit concluded with a tour of the university campus by motorcade.
